Farm security -Devon CCTV recently installed 3 high-resolution cameras at our family farmhouse and the quality is just amazing – even at night time the images are in colour and perfectly clear. Lots of people come and go across our farmland and the peace-of-mind our new system has brought us is beyond measure. It’s so simple to use we picked it up in no time and I can even easily access the cameras on my iPhone.
They came out for free, planned the job and gave us clear and sensible advice explaining all the technical jargon in simple terms, and we had a competitive quote by the next day which we immediately accepted. It was completed within the week and the installation was not at all disruptive.
Matt explained that he has done many agricultural installations to allow remote viewing (from home or a phone/tablet) of livestock. This would be very helpful to us during the calving seasons – particularly through the night – to see if a calf needs assistance, so we will definitely be installing more cameras soon. Matt also said he can do this using wireless links to all the remote outbuildings on the farm so the installation will be easy.

CCTV Fire safety...Matt installed our entire network of several IP CCTV systems (over 40 cameras) across our 60 acre site using a combination of wireless links and fibre optic cabling. This included 3 top of the range thermal imaging cameras to monitor hidden core temperatures as an early warning system.
He also installed our new fire alarm system across all the buildings on site, and integrated the thermal cameras which now alert our staff to to potential hazards long before they could be detected by traditional means.
When we built our new weighbridge office, Matt installed a complete set of integrated systems for fire, CCTV monitoring, intruder alarm systems, access controlled doors and a 4 lane barrier system, number plate recognition and a site wide WiFi system for our yard operations.

3 integrated CCTV systemsThanks to Devon CCTV we now have over 60 security cameras in our three storey nightclub in Exeter. A further two 16 channel systems in two nearby buildings brings the total to over 80 cameras which are both locally and centrally recorded, and monitored on several screens in our control room.
The system is outstanding and used heavily on a daily basis. It is a valuable tool for our team of door staff, allowing them to monitor congestion during busy periods and to respond immediately to any incidents.
Matt also installed an IP network throughout our buildings which we are now able to use for our tills, WiFi and payment facilities etc.
We highly recommend Devon CCTV and wouldn’t use anyone else.
